Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for joining us again for this Stipend Monthly Update.
This monthly update will consist of listing what’s left for a completed V1.0 and listing major tasks accomplished since last month.
We are glad to say that the migration is finally completed with the main features all ported thanks to David’s hard work and dedication to the project and the community!
Now there are two lines of work left — wallet integration (already implemented as a port towards the platform) and a security overhaul. We are pushing as much as possible for a 1.0 Platform before the end of December if everything goes to plan.
1 — Migration
The migration is now. Done thanks to the amazing work David has put in over the past couple of months. There will be a couple of minor things that are not needed to have an operational platform that we can wire later on, but as of right now, work has shifted towards the Wallet integration and security.
Components left to wire to the DB before or after launch: Votes/Favorites/EnterpriseEdition/ReferralSystem/CoinAdditions)…
2 — Blockchain Update
Casey is collaborating with David on the Wallet Integration module to ensure that everything is up to scratch. We will do our best to keep the community updated on any developments, as this will provide a clear signal on when the wallet will be fully integrated into the platform.
The work will then shift towards finishing the next StipendBlockchain update and a working Bridge right after Launch.
3 — Security & Structure
The security team identified most of the issues with the platform, even updates we can work on after launch to solidify the platform and overall security. We will be listing a detailed fix log after the security breaches were successfully fixed and secured. We are confident the security overhaul wouldn’t take up more than a month or two.
4 — Launch
So far, the final launch date will be determined by the wallet integration speed that David and Casey are working on, and the security overhaul of the platform things that are put as main items to avoid any distractions and keep us on track for launch.
We expect to have a fully functional V1.0 by the end of December, preferably sooner (this date is a guideline for the team, as we have had our fair share of late deliveries in the past, so please keep this in mind).
6 — Conclusion
We will be as transparent as possible in the next couple of months to be able to share every step along the way to a stable V1.0 and then a Mobile Release after launch. Things will start to be a bit more open as we will be moving away from the shallow waters and towards more ambitious goals.
Thank you again to Casey, David, and Yuri, who showed amazing spirits during these past months, and we are lucky to have them as part of the Stipend Team. And to the Stipend Community, we are deeply grateful for all of your understanding and efforts, which sometimes serve as wake-up calls to the development team; we will repay you by always and forever remaining committed to the project, no matter how good or bad things get from here on out.
